The Extra Mile

We've had our wrought iron gate - for a shared 'entry' - for many years ...since an attempted break in stole our peace of mind.

It's a beautiful gate and having been purchased by us it's been repainted (by us) since and refurbished by the Wyre Wrought Iron team when it really needed more than a couple of coats of metallic paint.

This time, however, we thought it was past the point of no return - but shot blasting and galvanising has transformed our gate and restored it to almost new condition. It looks fantastic.

What we appreciate about Lee H and his team is their courtesy, their humour, their craftsmanship, the fact they give a time and keep to it - even working on Saturdays to hit a deadline.

They go the extra mile, they didn't have to repair our front gate but did so unprompted and without seeking payment as a real act of kindness.

They have also installed some really lovely handrails - a far cry from the basic functional designs seen elsewhere. These are a triumph of style and substance.
